All digital goods, such as eBooks are non-refundable because they are considered consumable products. Once you have read the book, you have consumed it. Our books are available via libraries. Librarians can order the book for you upon request. As such, we do not offer returns on eBooks. We also do not offer returns on audiobooks because they are also consumable digital goods. Once you have listened to the audiobook, you have consumed it.
We offer returns only if a print book arrives defective and will work with you to obtain a replacement if you contact us within 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. A $10 flat rate return shipping fee may apply in certain circumstances, but typically, we try to recoup shipping costs for damaged or missing shipments via shipping insurance through USPS, UPS, or DHL first and foremost.

This book opens as Felicity Forrest answers a call from her best friend Cyn as she walks to the subway. They are planning to go out for Cyn's twenty-fifth birthday. Cyn's been trying to get Felicity to let loose a bit ever since her break-up six months ago. Felicity hasn't been able to let go of it yet even though she's the one who walked away from the damaging relationship.
Felicity has a very interesting job, she's a paranormal investigator and blogger for Everyday Supernatural. Her plans with Cyn have to change when her boss Nathan calls with an assignment requiring her to go out of town. Felicity figures Cyn will forgive her if she comes with her so Nathan makes the arrangements for her as well.
The assignment is to investigate accidents happening at a resort construction site on Inis Mór in Ireland. There are rumors they are being caused by a púca. According to legend a púca is a shapeshifter that can be a horse, rabbit or goat but always with black fur and glowing eyes. The incidents have been reported by a local priest who also sent a photo. A photo their experts couldn't figure out if it is altered as they usually can.
We meet Niall O'Leary as he is woken by his twin sister Maelíosa. Their father, Fallon, has sent her to fetch him. Fallon is concerned because the veil is lifting and it's still summer. Normally it doesn't lift until Samhain. He's going to send Niall and Tomas, but Tomas will have another assignment as well. The assignment is to find a mate for Fallon, and he can't tell his best friend Niall. Fallon also instructs Niall to find a mate, or he will force Maelíosa to honor her betrothal to Ryan a púca known for his cruelty. The fear in her eyes is all it takes for Niall to agree to look for a human mate.
Felicity is taken with the beauty of the island and could see how it inspired superstitions. Father Cleary met them at the docks and escorted them to Pier House, the bed and breakfast they were staying at and they arrange to meet for supper at Tí Joe Watty’s a pub not far away. Just about everything was walking distance on this small island.
When they entered Tí Joe Watty’s they felt like all eyes were on them. Father Cleary explained everyone knows who she is and she's here to write about the púca. They begin to discuss the photo but are interrupted by the waitress.
We meet Jenna an American who took the photo and she describes her experience. Before she leaves with Father Cleary, Jenna agrees to take them where the photo was taken the next day.
Between Niall staring at her and his stallion's reaction, then her being caught staring at him we know he and Tomas would be approach Felicity and Cyn once they've eaten their meals.
Things definitely get far more interesting from here. The attraction between Felicity and Niall is palpable, and Cyn definitely has her sights set on Tomas. Too bad he's happily mated and wouldn't ever cheat.
I am already reading the next book, to see where this relationship will lead.
